Welcome to Whisked Away macarons! My name is Allison and baking is my absolute passion.  I started baking in my early adult years, spending time pouring over recipes and baking all varieties of baked goods after working my day job as an IT Project Manager. Analytical by day, creative by night!  Truly, I knew at that young age that what was paying the bills was not what was filling my heart.  


Now a stay-at-home mom, I have continued my baking hobby in my free time.  In 2020, during the dreary and hopeless days of Covid lockdown, I committed myself to perfecting French macarons.  Through numerous virtual classes offered by pastry chefs, YouTube videos, and countless “macaWRONGS”, I finally nailed it!  I began sharing my macarons with friends and family.  Because of their suggestion and encouragement, I am now a registered Cottage Food Producer in the state of Minnesota, ready to offer my macarons to all of you!  I love inventing macaron flavor profiles and the baking process, but sharing the final product with others is honestly what brings me the most joy!
